Changmeng Liu is devoted to the research on the mechanism and method of shape and property regulation, control system and intelligent equipment development for parallel wire additive manufacturing with multi-energy beams. He has presided over more than 10 projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program (chief), the Key Project in Defense Basic Research, the General Program of National Natural Science Foundation, and the Shared Technology Project of Ministry of Equipment Development. He has published a total of 101 academic papers and has been cited over 4000 times by Google Scholar; Among them, 53 SCI papers have been published as the first/corresponding author in Addit. Manuf. and J. Mater. Process. Technol. etc. He has been authorized 21 national invention patents and 1 software copyright as the first inventor. His research achievements have been applied in national defense fields such as aerospace, marine, and weaponry.
