Prof. You currently serves as Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory for Advanced Fibrous Materials, Head of the Department of Composite Materials at Donghua University, Vice Chairman of the Advanced Manufacturing for Biomaterials Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, Associate Editor of Smart Materials and Medicine, and Editorial Board Member of Bioactive Materials, Chinese Journal of Polymer Science, and Advanced Interventional Materials. His long-term research focuses on polyurethanes and biomedical elastomers. He has published more than 100 corresponding-author papers, including over 40 with IF > 15, in high-impact journals such as Nature Medicine, 4 in Nature Communications, 3 in Science Advances, PNAS, and 13 in Advanced Materials. He holds more than 60 authorized invention patents, some of which have been translated. His research achievements were selected for the 2021 Top Ten Basic Research Papers in Chinese Cardiovascular Diseases and the Blue Book on the Development of New Advanced Materials Technologies in China, and have been reported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Science News and the Materials Research Society (MRS, USA), among others. He was awarded the Shanghai Leading Talent (2022), Shanghai Top Ten Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Contribution Award (2023). As the first awardee, he received the First Prize of the Science and Technology Innovation Project of the Chinese Association for Birth Health and Care (2023), the Gold Medal of the 12th Macao International Innovation and Invention Expo (2024), the Polymer Science Innovation Paper Award of the Chinese Chemical Society (2025), the First Prize of Science and Technology of the Chinese Materials Research Society (2025), and the First Prize of Natural Science of the China National Textile and Apparel Council (2025).
