【Bio】

Dr. Zhang Fenghua is a Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology and a former Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge. She currently holds several leadership positions, including:

  • Secretary-General of the Smart Composite Materials Committee of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials (CSCM).

  • Secretary-General of the Smart Composite Materials Committee of SAMPE (Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering) China.

  • Secretary-General of the Smart Materials Industry Technological Innovation Alliance.

  • Board Member of the SAMPE Beijing Chapter and the Fiber Material Modification and Composite Technology Branch of the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS).

  • Engineering Expert of the Additive Manufacturing Medical Device Committee of the China Association for Medical Device Industry (CAMDI).

She serves on the Editorial Board of Smart Materials and Structures and as a Youth Editorial Board Member for Advanced Fiber Materials and Research. Her long-term research focuses on smart materials and structures, including shape memory polymers (SMPs), 4D-printed intelligent structures and their biomedical applications, smart fibers, shape memory micro/nano-structure design, and multifunctional composites.
