【Biography】
Yuexi Yao, Managing Partner of Hylands Law Firm Shanghai Office, Leading Partner of the International Investment & M&A Committee of Hylands Law Firm, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a bachelor's degree in Law and a master's degree in International Law. Yuexi Yao is admitted to practice law in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the United States (New York State). Yao’s areas of expertise encompass domestic and foreign investment& M&A, general corporate matters, private equity and investment funds, and asset management. She previously served for many years with the China office of a premier U.S. international law firms and leading Chinese law firms, demonstrating both exceptional professional expertise and comprehensive law-firm management experience. Yuexi Yao has been awarded the “Top 15 in LEGALBAND’s 2024 Special Recommendation: Outbound Investment”, and the “Top 15 Client-Favorite M&A Lawyers in 2023”, consecutively listed in “Chambers Asia-Pacific / Greater China Region: Corporate/Commercial” (2020–2024), “Chambers Global 2022–2023: Corporate/M&A”, and “The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2022: Corporate/M&A”.
