Daniel Thomsen is the Head of 3D Print, Go-to-Market, Asia-Pacific and Japan since October 2022. In this role he is responsible for leading the APJ team to deliver customers impactul solutions composed of hardware, software, service and consultancy.
Daniel has over 23 years’ experience in the Additive Manufacturing. Prior to his current role at HP, he worked at Stratasys for 11 years, where he held General Manager and Managing Director positions for various subsidiaries. During this tenure, he was responsible for accelerating growth by driving existing entities, or via M&A or joint venture activities. On all occasions, the businesses under his leadership grew significantly. Prior to Stratasys, two of his former employers were acquired by 3D Systems Corporation. He has also worked in many service bureaus, which provided him with a strong application and problem solving foundation.
He earned his Master of Business Administration from Buckinghamshire New University, UK and his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Melbourne University, Australia.
Daniel has worked and lived in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
