Mr. Wang Chao is a pioneering expert in additive manufacturing, with over 20 years of experience driving the adoption and market expansion of 3D printing technology in China. He has witnessed and propelled the evolution of SLA technology from its laboratory origins to full-scale industrial application.
Since joining UnionTech in 2006, he has been instrumental in establishing and scaling the South China region, achieving over a decade of consecutive growth and surpassing the ¥100 million revenue milestone in 2017. In 2015, he founded UnionTech's Footwear Business Unit, forging strategic partnerships with global giants such as Adidas, Nike, Anta, and Pou Chen Group, earning him recognition as a key driver of digital transformation in the footwear mold industry.
Now leading global equipment and materials operations, Mr. Wang focuses on internationalizing Chinese AM technology and fostering global supply chain collaboration. In his keynote, he will share insights from serving top-tier global brands, exploring how additive manufacturing can take root across diverse industrial ecosystems and the opportunities and challenges ahead for Chinese enterprises.
