【Bio】
Yang Weidong is the deputy director of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tongji University. His research directions are composite materials and structural mechanics and advanced manufacturing. He serves as the executive director of SAMPE Mainland China, an expert of the New Materials Innovation Branch of the China Invention Association, and an editorial board member and youth editorial board member of several academic journals. He has been selected into the Shanghai Distinguished Expert, the China-Australia Young Scientists Exchange Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc., and won honours such as the SAMPE China Composite Product Innovation Award (Manufacturing Category) and the Shanghai Mechanics Society Outstanding Young Scholar.
