TCT Shenzhen 2026 Visitor and Exhibitor Guide: What to See and How to Plan Your Trip

Source:        DateTime:2026.09.29        Hits: 100

There is still time to consider a trip to TCT Shenzhen 2026, taking place on 14–16 October at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, Hall 15, Bao’an. For overseas visitors, the decision starts with entry eligibility, available flights and a workable stay. For exhibitors, it starts with confirming stand arrangements and making sure the right team is available when buyers arrive.

The programme gives that trip a clear purpose. A product developer can combine a new-material presentation with a discussion about a real part. A manufacturing team can compare equipment with the inspection methods needed to accept its output. This guide brings those show-floor choices together with registration, arrival and everyday planning.

The organiser’s September preview[2] confirms the dates and Hall 15 location. Save the full venue name: Shenzhen World in Bao’an is the destination to enter when planning this visit.

Can you still book a flight and enter China?

A late booking may be possible, but check your own itinerary before committing. Search live flights to Shenzhen, then compare the total journey with any feasible connection through Hong Kong or Guangzhou. Include baggage collection, onward transport and, where relevant, border procedures. A cheaper flight is less useful if its arrival leaves no reliable margin before your first meeting.

For China entry, work through these checks in order:

  1. Check whether a visa-free arrangement covers your passport and visit. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs FAQ[3] explains eligible ordinary-passport visits of up to 30 days, including conferences and exhibitions. Other arrangements may also apply; verify the rules for your nationality, documents and purpose.

  2. If considering 240-hour visa-free transit, check the whole route. The National Immigration Administration’s policy[4] requires eligibility, designated ports and permitted stay areas, plus onward travel to a third country or region with a confirmed date and seat. An ordinary return trip by itself does not meet that onward-travel condition.

  3. If neither route applies, check visa requirements and processing time. Exhibition registration is separate from immigration permission. Confirm both before purchasing an itinerary that cannot be changed.

Keep your meeting or invitation details, accommodation booking and onward itinerary accessible. The NIA provides a free official arrival-card service[5], with options for travellers who cannot complete it before arrival. Its 12367 service[6] also provides English assistance for immigration questions.

Shenzhen’s international visitor economy provides useful context: the municipal tourism authority reported 476,000 overnight foreign visitor trips in the first quarter of 2026, up 41.5% year on year. Those figures describe tourism activity; check your own flight and entry arrangements independently. Read the municipal report[7].

Start registration through the English portal

Open the TCT Shenzhen registration page[1] and choose the overseas-visitors route where appropriate. The opening screen offers mobile or email sign-up. On the email route, it asks for your email address and verification code; review the privacy terms before continuing.

Follow the live form through its remaining required fields. When you finish, save the confirmation and follow the badge or entry instructions actually supplied by the organiser. Check the spam folder if you are waiting for a verification email. For registration questions, the portal lists tctservice@globusevents.com.

Register before the published deadline if you want to use the free-registration offer. If you are exhibiting, ask your organiser contact about exhibitor credentials and contractor access as part of your stand preparations.

Prepare differently as a visitor or an exhibitor

AudienceArrange before travellingKeep available on the day
VisitorsShortlist relevant companies; request meetings; select one priority session; check any session reservation requirementsRegistration confirmation, meeting contacts, a saved floor plan and a short list of technical questions
ExhibitorsObtain the 2026 Shenzhen exhibitor manual; confirm badges, freight, build-up, power, demonstration requirements and dismantling arrangementsStand rota, organiser contacts, demonstration backups, sample information and a shared enquiry log

Give each meeting a specific purpose. A visitor bringing a part drawing can ask more useful questions than someone requesting a general company introduction. An exhibitor can prepare more effectively if that drawing, intended material and likely order size arrive in advance.

Exhibitors should agree who remains on the stand when colleagues attend a forum or meet a buyer elsewhere. Confirm operational deadlines directly with the organiser through the exhibitor centre; the public page does not currently provide a complete 2026 Shenzhen manual.

What deserves time on the show floor?

Build your shortlist around a task you need to complete. The 2026 exhibitor directory and product directory can help you connect a technology interest with a company to meet.

Your objectiveA useful starting pointA question to bring
Compare polymer processes and finished partsFormlabs, H50; the organiser previews SLA, SLS and Fuse X1Which material, finishing steps and production schedule fit this part?
Explore metal and ceramic printingXJet 3D, M12What changes between the printed part and the finished component I would receive?
Discuss metal equipment for a manufacturing requirementShanghai ESU Laser, E30What build and inspection evidence can you show for a comparable geometry?
Connect printing with measurementShining 3D, D11How would you measure the features that determine whether this part is acceptable?

These are directory-based starting points, not a complete itinerary or a promise that every listed machine will run live. Ask exhibitors which samples, staff and demonstrations will be available, then locate your chosen stands on the official floor plan[8].

Leave room for an activity beyond the stands. The TCT Shenzhen Summit covers application discussions, while TCT INTRODUCING provides scheduled product presentations. The organiser also previews 3D Genius Hub, maker activities and business exchange. Choose the activity that helps answer your next question, and confirm its participation arrangements.

A half-day visit and a fuller working day

For a half-day visit on 14 October, one possible anchor is the announced Formlabs Genius Drop session at 10:30–11:30 at 3D Genius Hub. Arrange two relevant stand conversations around it and allow time to walk between locations. The official Formlabs preview[9] also identifies H50 for its exhibition presence.

For a full day on 15 October, a manufacturing visitor could reserve the morning for supplier meetings and focus on the Thermal Management & Electronics Manufacturing Forum in the afternoon. Its published programme starts at 13:30. Select the talks most relevant to your application rather than trying to fit every session around meetings. Check the dated Summit agenda[10].

For exhibitors, use the same programme selectively: assign a colleague to attend a relevant session while the stand remains staffed, then capture the useful questions and follow-up contacts together. These are suggested planning patterns; adjust them to the final programme, access hours and confirmed appointments.

How to get to TCT Shenzhen 2026

The venue’s transport guide[11] identifies Metro Lines 12 and 20 as serving Shenzhen World. It lists Shenzhen World station (国展) for the south lobby and Shenzhen World North station (国展北) for the north lobby. Check the show’s Hall 15 entrance instructions before choosing your final station and exit.

Arrival routeWhat to plan
Shenzhen Bao’an International AirportCompare the live metro route with a taxi transfer; include time for arrivals, baggage and the walk into Hall 15
A Shenzhen railway stationCheck the route from your actual arrival station to Shenzhen World; allow for transfers and luggage
Guangzhou or another mainland cityCompare onward rail and road options against the time of your first appointment
Hong KongVerify the border or transfer route, operating hours, documents and onward connection before booking

Use a live journey planner for travel times. Save the venue’s Chinese name, 深圳国际会展中心(宝安)15号馆, along with your hotel address, so both are available offline.

Where to stay and how to pay for local travel

Choose accommodation by the journeys you will actually make. Staying near the venue suits early stand preparation and repeated visits. An airport-area hotel may suit a short trip with an early flight. A metro-linked location can work for visitors combining the exhibition with meetings elsewhere in Shenzhen.

Compare the complete commute, cancellation terms, check-in arrangements and any transport a hotel specifically confirms. Check the TCT accommodation page for updates and arrange rooms against live availability.

Local travel has become easier for eligible overseas cardholders. A 14 September municipal transport notice[12] says Shenzhen Metro accepts supported contactless Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB cards, subject to the stated card settings. Check those requirements and keep another payment option available for merchants and services beyond the metro.

Food, clothing and the daily essentials

Reserve time to eat between sessions, particularly if your afternoon includes consecutive meetings. The venue’s catering information[13] describes dining facilities; check which outlets operate near Hall 15 during the show. Ask individual outlets about ingredients, dietary requirements and payment methods before ordering.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light indoor layer. Check the forecast shortly before departure to decide on rain protection. Pack a charger, suitable adaptor, business contact details and the documents relevant to your visit. Exhibitors should add backup presentation files, labelled samples and a practical method for recording buyer requests.

Before leaving, refresh your registration instructions, session reservations, meeting contacts and route into Hall 15. Register for TCT Shenzhen 2026[1], then use the current directory and programme to turn your visit into a manageable sequence of conversations.
