【Biography】

Dr. Emmanuel Ramirez Arriola is a Science and Technology Fellow II in the Materials and Process Research Division at the Metals Industry Research and Development Center under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-MIRDC). He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in energy systems, as well as a Master of Science in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.

His research leverages advanced computational modeling—including finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and thermomechanical analysis—to drive innovations in additive manufacturing, thermal management, and power electronics packaging. Dr. Arriola’s recent work focuses on application-driven solutions, such as the development of generative-designed, lightweight liquid cooling manifolds for electric vehicles and metamaterial airless tires for micro-mobility platforms.
